What a wonderful moment it was to see the children from North Cheltenham Preschool and the residents from Freedom aged care Cheltenham get together as part of the Connecting Generations Program.
Here is one of the residents Meryl and Minato a student from North Cheltenham preschool getting acquainted. While the children were visiting the aged care centre there were lots of activities, from colouring to playing games and generally getting to know each other. We cannot wait until next time we visit Cheltenham to see how the program is going and how the children and residents getting to know each other.
Thanks to the Moorabbin Leader for featuring the activity on the front page and page seven.
